Jigy's Coaching Venture
Last month one of our coaches travelled to India to run wheelchair basketball camp. Jignesh Vaidya (Jigy) run two successful camps, in Pune and Mumbai. Working in partnership with Kalina University, Mumbai, PRC (Paraplegic Rehabilitation Centre) Pune, where he coached more than 30 players, some of them never played wheelchair basketball and some of them advance players. He ran different drills with players, from fitness, to shooting practice, to match practice. He also spend time with coaches from both Mumbai & Pune clubs, shared his experiences as a coach and a player. He was delighted that whole thing went smoothly and every one enjoyed themselves and learned so much in these two camps, and is keen to run another camp in future. We would like to thank both camps, and teams of people who organised this, we are proud to build this relation with these two clubs, providing them, our coach for camp, along with basketballs and kit, we hope this partnership carrys on and that we work together going forward.
